So I was playing the Streets of Rage Remake on my computer yesterday and felt like making a wallpaper with Axel.

The original idea was just to have a large sprite of Axel on the screen in the pose where he is slamming someone. Then I remembered how some old Sega games had little opening animations where the characters interacted with the Sega logo but Streets wasn't one of them. So viola, my interpretation of how a screen from such an opening sequence would be.

All my digital work is done in Paint Shop Pro 9
Wallpaper design by me, all characters and original artwork copyright their respective owners

Indeed, I hope they release both EC and SOR2 on the wii virtual console.
Thanks for the fav by the way. And I have started working on more wallpapers with the other characters :) Just a few more character sprites and I'll be ready to start throwing them together.

Man....a new EC. I mean, why not? It could be to Soul Calibur what VF is to Tekken.

As for SoR, I've heard so many different things concerning a remake, I'm wondering if it'll be even worth waiting for anymore :(. There's YouTube footage of old concept animation for when it could've been for Dreamcast, and there was a pic or two I saw of something called City of Rage.

oh sorry, you misunderstood me. I meant I hope they release the original games on Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console. As for remakes there is a SOR remake for PC out that retains the old graphics style.

beating streets of rage remake on a difficult setting was extremely hard. i only got a certain lenght of the game and only got one code lol. but nice pic. dragon punch for Axel.

no probs. maybe you can tell me if my sprite is too fast or too slow. the last comment said it was too fast but its axel's dragon punch. what was to be expected? he usually moves fast for this attack lol.
