Axel SEGA Slamby ~theland10

Customization / Wallpaper / Games

So I was playing the Streets of Rage Remake on my computer yesterday and felt like making a wallpaper with Axel.

The original idea was just to have a large sprite of Axel on the screen in this pose where he is slamming someone. Then I remembered how some old Sega games had little opening animations where the characters interacted with the Sega logo but Streets wasn't one of them. So viola, my interpretation of how a screen from such an opening sequence would be.

I ended up making 3 wallpapers with Axel which I'll be posting, two with the logo and one with just Axel.

I might go through and do something like this with the other characters later but for now just Axel, cause we all know he's the main man, haha.

All my digital work is done in Paint Shop Pro 9

Actually I originally planned on doing one for each character, and even had some of the sprites, but never got around to finishing. *shrugs*

sweet man, I know how you feel when you made this. When I play games like the old school ones I go wow this music is amazing, I want to remix this track and make it modern.
